We ask for a little information to create something personal. This notice explains what happens to it.
Who is responsible?

Your photo and portrait
When you create a portrait, we process your uploaded photo, pet’s name and type, selected style, occasion, optional personality detail and email address. We use these to generate your artwork and make it available in your browser. Please upload only photos you have permission to use and avoid including people or sensitive information.
The photo and selected creative details are sent to KIE.AI, our image-generation provider. Your email is not included in the generation prompt. Cloudflare hosts the website and stores the image files and creation records. Photos are made available to the image provider through an unlisted, temporary access link. Generated portraits are accessible through your browser’s private session; we do not publish them in a public gallery.
Service providers and processing abroad
Cloudflare and KIE.AI process data to provide hosting, storage and image generation. These services may process data outside Switzerland, where data-protection rules can differ. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy and KIE.AI’s privacy policy for their practices. Provider-side retention and processing are governed by their applicable terms and policies.
Your email
Your email is saved with your creation. At this stage, portraits are downloaded directly from the website; automated email delivery is not enabled. If you separately choose to hear when the physical collection opens, we save that preference and your email for a collection availability notification. This is optional and is not a newsletter subscription. You can withdraw that request through our contact form.
How long do we keep things?
Portraits and their creation records are available for 7 days. Expired records and stored image files are removed by a daily cleanup, normally within 24 hours after expiry. The source-photo link expires after 24 hours. Download your portrait while it is available.
Optional collection notification requests are retained for up to 12 months unless you ask us to remove them sooner. Contact messages are retained for up to 90 days. Our cleanup does not control copies already processed by an external image provider.
Browser storage and usage counts
A necessary, secure session cookie lets you access your own portrait in the same browser for up to 7 days. We also save a creation identifier in your browser to resume progress. We use aggregate daily counts of actions, such as opening the creator and completing generation, to understand the service. These counts do not contain your email, photo or pet’s name. We respect the browser’s Do Not Track signal for these usage counts.
We use a hashed network identifier and temporary request counters to limit abuse. Hosting infrastructure processes network and request information to deliver and secure the service. We do not currently load advertising pixels or third-party advertising cookies.
Your choices
You can request information about your data, correction or deletion through our contact form. For security, we may need to verify that a request comes from the person concerned. You may also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner regarding data-protection concerns.
